Rollo The computer desk
Rollo USB X1038
A USB-first option when your shipping work already lives on a Mac or Windows computer.
No ink does not mean no running costs. A fair comparison counts suitable labels and accessories, and separates buying a new setup from continuing to use hardware you already own.
Scenario one: keep your current printer and buy the necessary label sheets and ink or toner. Scenario two: buy a thermal printer, compatible labels and required accessories.
This is not a complete business-cost calculation. Labor, failed labels, maintenance, shipping and taxes need their own evidence or explicit inputs before they can be included.
Divide the price of an exact compatible pack by its usable label count. Match the same output size and state. A narrow address roll and a shipping-label pack do not represent the same job.
For a printer with an authenticated or model-specific label system, do not use a generic roll’s price. Check actual supply compatibility before making a low-cost claim.
Try 100 labels per month, then 500, in the calculator below. These are optional planning inputs—not a claim about typical customers or a printer’s tested capacity.
The result buys whole packs, so cash outlay can be higher than the cost of labels consumed. Leftover labels are shown through the whole-pack calculation rather than silently discarded.
Enter zero for accessories only if you have confirmed that none are needed. Leave an unknown input blank. The calculator will not treat missing cost as free.
Current retailer quotes and exact compatible label packs are your inputs. This tool does not fetch live prices or predict income, tax deductions or time savings.

No. The answer depends on the upfront setup, actual labels and the costs of your existing printer.
You usually pay for a pack, not an exact fractional number of labels. Cash outlay and consumed-label cost are different.
No. Those vary and are explicitly excluded from this scenario. It is not a checkout quote.
TRACEABLE, NOT TAKEN ON TRUST
